It produces in summer beautiful flowers looking like small dark red lilies that exhale a smell of strawberries.
The Calycanthus floridus resists very well to cold and frost, but prefers a sunny place.
Its adult size is reached in 5 - 6 years.
Carolina Allspice is original and little known shrub.
