The Giant sequoia is native to California and is one of the tallest trees in the world; it has a very long life, rapid growth and great hardiness (- 25°C).
Its leaves are persistent and give off an anise odor when crumpled.
Fear not: this majestic conifer have been introduced in Europe in the 19th century, it will fit perfectly in one of our parks or large gardens.
It will also make a beautiful outdoor bonsai.
