The Philadelphus lemoinei Dame Blanche or Dame Blanche Mock Orange is a variety of syringe of small size, with very dense foliage and generous flowering. Compact shrub with a bushy habit, the Philadelphus lemoinei Dame Blanche reaches a maximum of 1 m to 1.50 m in height for the same spread. It has a brown bark that exfoliates over time.
In June-July, Dame Blanche Mock Orange displays a profusion of white flowers gathered in bouquets, highlighted by dark green foliage. Very fragrant, they give off a pleasant scent reminiscent of orange blossom. Nectariferous and honey-bearing, they are regularly visited by bees and other foraging insects.
