The Philadelphus lemoinei Dame Blanche or Dame Blanche Mock Orange is a variety of syringe of small size, with very dense foliage and generous flowering. Seringat is a must in your gardens, whether small or large to garnish and perfume a flowering hedge or a bed, it is also suitable for pot culture.
Compact shrub with a bushy habit, the Philadelphus lemoinei Dame Blanche reaches a maximum of 1 m to 1.50 m in height for the same spread. It has a brown bark that exfoliates over time.
In June-July, Dame Blanche Mock Orange displays a profusion of white flowers gathered in bouquets, highlighted by dark green foliage. Very fragrant, they give off a pleasant scent reminiscent of orange blossom. Nectariferous and honey-bearing, they are regularly visited by bees and other foraging insects.
The Philadelphus lemoinei Dame Blanche adapts to all terrains, whether acidic or calcareous. Although it tolerates shade, it is best to set it up in the sun to achieve better flowering. Very rustic, it tolerates temperatures down to -20 ° C. The pruning is carried out after flowering, it is enough to shorten by one third the branches which have flowered.
