Description
The Crape myrtle flowers all summer and until October, its flowering is composed of long terminal panicles of 20 to 25 cm with petals delicately wrinkled purple, these develop on the shoots of the year.
Purple Crape myrtle is a very vigorous flowering shrub, it has a compact port.
Its green foliage passes in autumn by all the hues of yellow then red, its bark is smooth and very decorative.
Very resistant to the cold it is however necessary to return it the winter in the northern regions so that it can bloom the summer.
