President Grevy lilac
Syringa Vulgaris Président Grevy
Description
The Président Grévy lilac has pale lavender-blue spikes that appear in spring, and is very fragrant, bringing a delicious scent to your garden.
This bushy shrub remains compact, making it ideal for small gardens or hedges.
It enjoys sunshine and prefers a cool, neutral soil.
To encourage more abundant flowering the following year, simply cut off the faded inflorescences.
PS: Jules Grévy was the fourth president of the French Republic, who died in 1891.
