Physalis ixocarpa
Description
The fruits (5-7 cm) are tender, sweet and sour and rich with vitamins.
You can eat them raw, make chutney or use it in a sauce (salsa verde).
You can store them for about two weeks in a fridge.
Sowing indoors from march-april at 20-22°C. Plant outdoors, in a sunny position from may spaced 40 cm apart or in big flowerpots.
The more sun it gets, the sweeter the fruits will be.
