Description
If you want your garden to also reserve the pleasure of picking, do not hesitate to offer a place for the Rubus idaeus fallgold, a self-fertile and rising raspberry that has a delicious originality: it gives you large yellow raspberries, little tart, very sweet, melting, to be enjoyed fresh, as a coulis, as a jam or as a pie. Generous and autonomous, it is covered with white flowers from May to September, to produce its delicious fruits twice a year, between July and August, then in October.
The yellow raspberry rising from Fallgold comes from the mountains of Western Europe. Vigorous, it easily withstands cold temperatures and quickly reaches its final height (1.20 m on a spread of 2 m). Its flexible branches are less pungent than those of red raspberries.
It's hard to be more conciliatory than the Rubus idaeus fallgold: if, ideally, for abundant fruiting, it settles in a hole enriched with compost, in the sun, in a light and acid humus soil, it will develop everywhere easily. Combined with other raspberries or mulberry, blackcurrant, Pineapple Guava, aronia, it will constitute a pleasant fruit hedge. Just think of folding it back in December and congratulating yourself on having chosen it.
