The Malus Domestica Apistar® or Apistar® apple tree, is a variety of very old apple trees, which has reappeared recently, whose fruit shape reminiscent of a five-pointed star makes it very original, therefore, the Apistar apple is also often used for decorating Christmas tables. It is a fruit that can be eaten both raw and cooked.

Very fertile and very vigorous, the apple tree Apistar resists cold down to -25 ° C as well as diseases such as scab and mildew. It is a low-stem apple tree with a slightly weeping habit, reaching an adult height of 2 to 3 m.

The Malus Domestica Apistar® flowers in April-May. The fruit harvest is spread from November to December. It gives slightly flattened apples with white flesh, with thin yellow green skin, enhanced with a beautiful brick red on the face located in the sun. Crunchy and juicy, the fruits with a sweet and tangy flavor, keep until May.

The varieties Reinette du Mans, Belle de Pontoise, Reinette d'Armorique are excellent pollinators of the Apistar apple tree.
