Native to Asia, it is one of the non-spreading bamboos, which is distinguished by its rapid growth and elegant bearing. It can reach 4 meters in height for 2 m of spreading in a few years, which makes it an excellent choice for creating a screening hedge, free or trimmed, in your garden.
This bamboo is easy to grow and adapts to all situations. It tolerates sun, partial shade and shade, as well as all types of soil. It resists very well to cold, down to -20 °C, and does not fear diseases or harmful insects.
