Oleander Provence
Nerium Oleandre Provence
Description
Nerium Oleander Provence or Provence Oleander is a magnificent evergreen shrub. Originally from the Mediterranean basin, it offers you a splendid lush and honey-bearing bloom. From June to October its large, pale salmon triple flowers open in a cup and reveal an orange throat. From early summer to mid-fall, you will enjoy the intoxicating scent of these generous corymbs.
With its bushy habit (up to 2 m spreading), the Provence Oleander can reach 2 m in height in pots and 3 m in the ground. Undemanding, it accepts all types of cool, well-drained, stony, and even limestone soils. Cold-resistant down to -10 ° C, it nevertheless appreciates heat, so you can plant it in a very sunny place or in partial shade. In the south, install it in the ground and prune it in early spring. Isolated or accompanied by a Mont blanc Oleander, it will embellish your hedge or flower beds. In the north, prefer growing in a large pot on your terrace or on a balcony, in order to overwinter your Provence Oleander in a frost-free and unheated room and remember to prune it before the first frosts.
Easy to care for and resistant to disease, this Oleander will have you covered.
