Description
Raspberries are climbing fruit shrubs to be trellised on wires or netting, their fruits exist in several formats from the smallest to the largest, and of different colors, yellow, light or dark red or even the rarest, black, for a most surprising effect in your fruit hedges.
Fast growing, the raspberry must be pruned to avoid being invaded by its long stems, be careful however the floricane raspberries variety produce only one harvest per year and this one on the wood of the previous year at the beginning summer, therefore cut down to the ground the stems which produced the fruits of the year and leave and palliate ten new stems for the following year.
To be planted in the vegetable garden or along a trellis in a mixture of soil from your garden with the addition of compost, well exposed to the sun for an abundant harvest, mix floricane raspberries and primocane raspberry for a pickle of fruit for many months.
