Description
The Pear tree Beurré Hardy is of French origin, it is very widespread in our gardens and orchard because it is cultivated since 1830 for its taste qualities.
The Beurré Hardy is one of the first pears that are harvested in the year, usually they are already mature around 10-20 September.
The fruits
Pear Beurré Hardy is an excellent table fruit with white, fragrant, sweet and fondant flesh that is tasted in September.
Under good conditions, they are kept until October.
For better pollination, it can be combined with the Doyenné du comice, the Conference and the Williams pear tree.
Planting
The Pear tree Beurré Hardy is very resistant to the cold, the proposed subjects are grafted on a rootstock Cydonia oblonga K.Adams being may require concerning the nature of the soil it accepts even without difficult limestone or poor land and live more than 100 years.
