The Albizia julibrissin is a beautiful tree of the mimosa family, usually Albizias flower in light pink tight capitulum, the peculiarity of this selection lies, as its name indicates, in the red color of its flowering which intervenes according to the regions from June to September.
The foliage of red Albizia julibrissin is exceptionally decorative, it is long leaves of 40 cm dark green doubly paripinnate, resembling a can to those of ferns, but with more lightness, at dusk, as the mimosas, the leaves close on themselves.
Albizia julibrissin is a spreading tree that forms after a few years a real natural umbrella, ideal to create a half-shaded place in the garden.
