The Strelitzia Reginae is better known as the Bird of Paradise, because of its very colorful flowering that inspires the shape of an exotic bird's head of paradise islands, in our regions it is grown in pot to bring a tropical inspiration to our terraces, gardens and balconies, its culture is really not difficult just a pot of 5 to 30 liters, good universal potting soil, watering regular during the good season with a universal fertilizer intake 1x per month, its flowering is announced by long stems grow rapidly to see flourish these beautiful inflorescences, the show spans several weeks.

Strelitzia Reginae is also a very nice houseplant, where it can take refuge from October to May with a less watering.

Our advice: when your Strelitzia Reginae does not bloom anymore! simply repot it in the spring in a larger pot with fresh substrate to stimulate the flowering beginning of the following year.
