Plumeria
Description
The Frangipani or Plumeria, symbols of beauty, is a small tropical shrub that can be cultivated very easily in pot, it is native of Central America.
The Frangipani are famous for their magnificent very fragrant flowers, this inflorescence looks to be mistaken for the tiare used by the Vahinés in the manufacture of necklaces in Polynesia.
The Frangipani requires a lot of sunshine during the summer to flourish, so it is advisable to place it in a sunny place, indoors or outdoors, on your terrace from June to September to promote flowering .
The wintering of the Frangipani is very easy, possessing an evergreen foliage, it can be used as an indoor plant in a veranda, for example, taking care not to go below 5 ° C.
Set in a pot of 10 to 30 liters, in a rather rich and well drained soil, the Frangipani grows more or less from 20 to 40 cm per year, reaching a height at maturity of 1.5 m to 2 m in pot.
