Rhododendron Goldika is a vigorous, very hardy shrub that can withstand very cold winters with temperatures down to -21 ° C. It likes well-drained soils, but not dry, rather acidic, and rich in humus like peat. It is in a partially shaded place that Rhododendron Goldika will flourish best, but it can also be planted in the shade. Watering is advisable in dry weather, especially the first year, as well as the use of a thin mulch to keep moisture on its foot.
